James Edward Gray II joined the Ruby community before the Ruby on Rails era, after tours of duty in the Java and Perl language camps. His quest for the language that spoke to him had come to an end.

Since becoming a Rubyist, James has contributed documentation to the standard library, written open source libraries like FasterCSV and Highline, and started the Ruby Quiz. He now handles the regular maintenance of a few of the standard libraries including his CSV code, which replaced the code shipped with Ruby in version 1.9.

James has extensive experience in the Web application world having worked on a dozen applications. Highlights include building the API for the DEMOgod™ 2007 award winning iBridge Network, leading the development on WeddingBook, and being a part of the Scout team.

James now enjoys showing other programmers what Ruby can do for them. To that end he can often be found writing books about the language, speaking at conferences, running his local Oklahoma Ruby User's Group, and participating in Ruby's online communities.

Dana Gray has spent over a decade in the medical and food industries. She's intimately familiar with the other side of software, when it helps employees do their jobs and when it doesn't. She now uses that experience daily to make sure our clients get exactly what they need out of their projects.

Dana has designed, built, and maintained an impressive array of custom software. Her applications include a CRM for a complex and highly specialized field, lead management software, project collaboration software for a mid-sized marketing team, and a shared file storage application.
